Letters / Juneau Empire / April 15, 2005
The recent letter "Time to kill the wolf" is truly obscured and plain stupid. Wilderness means keeping the wilds of our country. These wolves have been a part of traditional cultures for hundreds of years, and we should show respect to them by living with them in the wild. Man's best friend, the dog, is not wild; it is domestic. I am sorry to hear that his domestic pet got attacked.
Let's keep the wild and the domestic separate shall we? And let's respect wilderness and its habitants.
