In response to the letter by Thomas Roberts of Denali Park ("Until barbaric act of trapping is abolished, fight with action," Feb. 3): We think he misinformed people to go out and trip traps and cut snares. A licensed trapper has a right to trap. Apparently he does not know that tampering with trappers' equipment or fur is illegal and he will be prosecuted. So he should be careful as he heads out on the trail with his clippers to destroy snares and traps as he may meet up with the trapper.
