We're Tilting Toward Small Tame Life

Letters / Anchorage Daily News / April 21, 2007

Anchorage's new motto is Big Wild Life, but how can it be so big and wild when we are putting bounties on wolves, overdeveloping the Hillside, opening more trapping in Chugach State Park and killing black bears by the hundreds. In 50 years Anchorage is going to look like Los Angeles. We are slowly killing all of Alaska's animals and are ruining its landscape with our oil development and mining.
