Treasured Animals Face Murder
Thanks to Governor's Henchmen
Letters to the Editor / Anchorage Daily News / November 7, 2003
Aerial wolf control is a prime example of the repulsive game management handed out by Gov. Frank Murkowski's henchmen on the Board of Game. They use desensitizing terms like "stocks," "harvest" and "predator control."
The reality of the issue is that hundreds, maybe even thousands of treasured Alaska wild animals are about to be harassed and murdered by trigger-happy airborne terrorists.
Predator control starts with us. Once we manage our own waste and consumption of our natural resources, then maybe we can justify the consumption patterns of other species.
