Candlelight Vigil for Wolves Reveals a Lack of Priorities

Letters to the Editor / Anchorage Daily News / December 22, 2003

What's wrong with our society when a wolf control candlelight vigil protest gets more attention than the 50 or 60 foster children in Anchorage who don't have a home on a daily basis?

The people in the protest wearing masks must be ashamed of their priorities ("Officials reaffirm wolf kills," Dec. 16). Give me a break!

Let's keep our focus on what really matters today.
