Air or Ground, Result is the Same

Letters to the Editor / Juneau Empire / December 23, 2003

I'm writing in response to the letter from Heather Napier of California. I'm not a hunter, never have hunted and probably never will, which would explain my apparent confusion with all this hunting business in the paper.

Heather stated that hunting anything from the air is just plain killing, no if ands or buts about it. I believe were her exact words. But isn't the end result when one is hunting always a kill? Provided they target an animal? What is the difference between hunting in the air vs. hunting on the ground? Either way animals are killed, which seemed to be Heather's issue. Hmmm...
