Craig
Medred's piece "Who ever said hunting was supposed to
be fair?" (Jan. 25) was so very timely and cogent.
For
people who strive to see hunting and other consumptive use
of Alaska's animals regulated out of existence for the benefit
of their cause, there is no use presenting this piece; it
will merely be passed off as the quintessential pro-hunter's
position.
But
for the undecided, it serves as a masterpiece of logic and
truth. Consider it carefully before signing any forthcoming
petitions that attempt to take away another part of the essence
of so many vested residents of this great state.
