Wolf Boycott

Letters to the Editor / Fairbanks Daily News-Miner / February 5, 2004

To the Editor:

It makes me mad when U.S citizens boycott Alaska or any state for laws or regulations that the government impose.

I saw on one of the local news channels that some tourist-based companies are losing business because of the recent wolf program.

How do these people know that the business they decided to ban had anything to do with or supported this new law?

For all they know the business owner could have been against the law. Do they really think that a boycott against private citizens' businesses is going to make the government change?

The only one they hurt are the families of the private business.
