Fewer Tourists

Letters to the Editor / Fairbanks Daily News-Miner / February 8, 2004

To the Editor:

Well, Friends of Animals is organizing what they call "howl-ins" in Alaska and across the country.

They are trying to stop the wolf control program here in Alaska. This group wants to boycott Alaska's tourist industry.

Well, it's fine with me if they boycott the tourist industry. That will be less tourists to worry about. Tourists are always coming around asking dumb questions while I am trying to do my subsistence activities.

Yours truly,

Pollock Simon Sr. / Allakaket
