Wolves Are Not the Problem When it Comes to Shortage of Moose

Letters to the Editor / Anchorage Daily News / April 14, 2004

Regarding the wolf hunting controversy and the alleged lack of moose for hunting: In the 34 years I've been in Alaska, I've observed hiking boots and tent hunting replaced by four-wheeler and Winnebago hunting, never mind the higher numbers of human hunters. Wolves aren't the problem.
